Frequently asked questions

Why should I choose refurbished AirPods instead of buying new?

Refurbished AirPods from Swappie give you the same premium Apple audio experience at a more accessible price, with verified sound performance, fully functional features like Active Noise Cancellation, professional cleaning and quality checks, and a 12-month warranty — all while being a more sustainable choice than buying new.

Are refurbished AirPods hygienic and safe to use?

Yes. Every pair of AirPods sold by Swappie is thoroughly cleaned and sanitised before resale. Acoustic mesh components — the small grilles that sit closest to your ears — are individually cleaned to restore proper airflow and sound clarity, ensuring both hygiene and optimal audio performance.

How does Swappie verify the sound quality of refurbished AirPods?

Every pair of AirPods undergoes performance verification to confirm the internal drivers maintain factory-grade frequency accuracy. Swappie's quality guarantee means that if a product does not meet performance requirements, it does not pass quality control and is not offered for sale.

Do features like Active Noise Cancellation and Spatial Audio still work?

Yes. All core features including Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), Transparency Mode, Adaptive Audio, and Spatial Audio are tested for proper functionality before sale. Only AirPods that pass these tests are approved and listed.

How is battery life checked on Swappie AirPods?

Battery performance is checked as part of Swappie's quality verification process. Both the earbuds and the charging case must meet functional battery standards to be approved for sale. Units that do not perform within acceptable limits do not pass quality control. All AirPods also come with a 12-month Swappie warranty for additional peace of mind.

What warranty comes with Swappie AirPods?

All Swappie AirPods come with a 12-month Swappie warranty covering technical and mechanical faults, including battery performance issues such as charging problems and faults with speakers or microphones. You also get a 14-day free return window.

Which AirPods models does Swappie sell?

Swappie currently sells the AirPods Pro 2 (available with MagSafe Lightning or MagSafe USB-C charging cases) and the AirPods 4 (available with or without Active Noise Cancellation, with a USB-C charging case). All models are expertly refurbished and backed by a 12-month warranty.

What's included in the box?

You receive two earbuds and a charging case. No charging cable or power adapter is included — just like a standard Apple retail purchase. All items are cleaned, tested, and ready to pair.
